Hilary is an award winning theatre director with sixteen years of professional experience, including a Drama Desk nomination for Outstanding Director of a Play (Works Productions' Moby Dick), which was also nominated for Outstanding Play and Featured Actor. 

She is a Drama League Fellow, and has received five Manhattan Theatre Club Directing Fellowships assistant directing for Lynne Meadow (Collected StoriesMoonlight and Magnolias, The American PilotOur Leading Lady) and Mark Brokaw (Reckless). Also on Broadway, Hilary assisted Richard Jones (Titanic), David Henry Hwang (Flower Drum Song), and Robert Falls (Aida).

Up next, Hilary is excited to be directing The Meisner Studio, NYU, second year undergrads in Churchill's Mad Forest. Opens April 18! Then, at the end of April, she will be at the helm of a new short play, Guernica 2003, in the American Globe Theatre Festival.

Earlier in the season, she directed Steel Magnolias for The Harbor Lights Theatre, worked with Justin Warner and Peter Yarin putting on a concert reading of their swashbuckling musical comedy The Masked Zinfandel, and traveled to Thunder Bay, Ontario, to faciliate a theatre workshop for Paramount Live!, a theatre company that produces with young actors. 

She is also busy planning programs with The Greenwich House Music School their Theatre Artist in Residence.
